With this New Year
I vow to serve you
In every area of life
Let me do as you do.

Teach me your truth
And I will walk in your way
Teach me your word
And help me obey.

Not just today
And not just tomorrow
I will live for you
Everyday I will follow.

Give me the strength
To make it through somehow
Every heartache, and every sorrow,
It’s all yours now.

Please be with me every moment
I can’t make it without you
I can’t do it on my own
I know that is true.

This is my resolution
To live my whole lifetime
Serving you every moment
Even if it be a crime.
