I will hold on

I won’t let go

I’ll be waiting here

You’ll know that for sure

When I hug you

It’s a different kind of high

The butterflies don’t stop

And these sparks don’t lie.

Someday it will work

Though it seems so far away

But I’m waiting here

‘til the sun rises on that day.

We can count the stars together

And kiss under the moon

We’ll play in all the puddles

I promise you it’s soon.

I’ll hold your hand

You’ll hold my heart

Nothing on this earth

Will tear us apart.

So hold tight for now

Though the waiting seems so long

I’m holding you in my thoughts
